its so small I tought the salesman gave me a guppy

He says it looks like a guppy so I'd bet 1.5". That's about the size my rtc and my two tsn were when I got them. Very tiny. Fattened them up on bloodworms. It's how I start out all my lil cats. Also crushed krill
I like raising them from really small myself, but they are really fragile it seems when that small. I had 2 rtc just last week. One I had for 7 weeks and is over 9" long got him at almost 2", but not quite. The other I got at 1.5" and one of my tetras bit off his gill cover. He lived for another week, but just sat in the air tubing bubbles til he died a few days ago. Really sux, cause they are hard to get here and I have to special order all my catfish. LFS is supposed to have some marble cats comming in for me, but I never know when they will get them. They only get shipments once a month.
Yeah I had two rtc that were 1.5 inches, got them the week after mothers day, and a month later they were both 6" and then out of no where one died. Everything was normal, nothing changed, he did have a HUGE belly and one of my bullheads was missing. I want to try a marble cat someday whenever I come across one.

Got them from the lake.. ofc I have quaranteened them for a while with regular water changes before feeding time.The rtc and the tigers are pretty easy to get here. I got a rtc thats about an 1.5 in about a week or so ago and hes eating like a horse. Ive got him a 55 with a paroon and an arrowana. Then a divider with a tsn an 8-10 ripsaw cat and my new jurenese cat. Now thats one big pig. I should be getting my 180 this weeked. I had big fish awhile back went to somethig different and now upgrading. Miss the BIG fish but it wont be long.
Holy crap florence. lol. That's a lot of pigs in your 55. They will love the 180, but you'll have to start saving for something much bigger very soon after you set up the 180. lol, good luck. Sounds kinda like my fish keeping habbits at times. I wait til they max out the tanks they are in and then upgrade them. Best of luck really, you have a nice collection of cats in that tank.
