I had a scare with one of my columbian sharks. He has not eaten for a few months now and was looking like sking and bones. You could really see every muscle group in its body when it moved.
One day it just stopped eating. It would grab food, but spit it right back out. For three months or so this has been the case and everyday I would wake up expecting to see him dead, but today was shrimp day. Normally the sharks will wait for the shrimp to hit the bottom and will harrass the datnoids and the compete with the eels for shrimp, but to my surprise, Mr. Skinny was right up top with the eels eating until his little belly was nice and plump.
I was so happy, I had to share this with you all.
That does make me wonder how long a fish can go without eating...
