My personal opinion is not, though I have alway wanted to set up a tribute to tacky aquaria tank thats chock full of bubbling clam shells and treasure chests, sunken ships and that diver that goes up and down.

I this sunken ships in aquariums are cliché. Like I mean sure they probably were cool, and at some point so was having a Hawaiian chick on the dash of a 1980 Cutlass Supreme while you wear a wife beater and slacks. But hey to each there own I imagine some guys and gals find it super awesome to have a sunken ship in their aquarium. But honestly go to www.ratemyfishtank.com and find how many of those tanks have tacky written all over them.

it looks BADDDD!!! IMO of course ( i odnt mean bad as in MAD i mean bad as haneous aquarium decorations that make your aquarium hideous)

They are for kids, I don't like any fake aquarium stuff. Fake Castles, boats, plants, pipes and stumps all annoy me. They make the tank look cheap, when actually its cheaper to get real wood (costs nothing).

Its your tank.... decorations which wont harm your fish so do whatever you think looks best. Your the one who looks at the tank everyday.

Would you let a group of unknown internet users tell you how to dress?
:) :) :)

Done right, no problem. I mean, if you have the skills to do up a scale model of a sunken ship properly, and make it look good, why not.

Of course, this is coming from a guy who will finally have a big tank for natives and will have a beer bottle or two, an old boot, etc. in there with 'em... heck, its their natural environment!

Fake aquarium stuff always ends up hurting my fish,The edges are soo sharp on most plastic stuff..

I personally think that the ceramic/plastic decor looks extremely fake and is not worth putting into my own aquarium. But then again there are people out there who will put blue, purple, green, and even hot pink down as gravel. Its just not my thing. I am about taking a slice of a lake and having it in the aquarium. Boots and beer bottles are the way to go lol.
