yearly does for parasites??

does anyone do a yearly kill all parasite treatment on their main tank?? kind of as a better safe than sorry deal. if so what do u treat for?
 
No I do not. I don't not really see the point of it. If you suspect your fish have parasites then just treat them. I would not have set time or the year to just hey let me put a bunch of potentially harmful medications in my aquarium just to be safe. Please do not take this the wrong way. I'm not being mean I am just giving my opinion.
 
I would have to say no as I don't want to subject my fish to medications/treatments that have the potential for adverse side effects for no reason. Only treat if there is something actually wrong.
