After well over a year of me never seeing it outside it’s cave, my raphael finally graced me with its presence last night:

At least it picked a hiding spot I can see it in all the time (just to taunt me), but I have not seen anything but it’s head in way too long. At least I know he’s alive lol
Don’t you just love paying money for a fish to never see it…
 
I admire your fabulous patience. To me, it'd be a waste quickly to keep a fish like this. I must be visually rewarded, each time I look at every tank I must be able to easily see every fish :)
 
Luckily everyone else in the tank is nice and active to make up for it. I’m sure I’d see him more if I was nocturnal as well lol

I know what you mean. All my catfish stay hid in their preferred hideouts. They have me trained to where I drop pellets at there hides ?
