Get about 8", more scrappy than a blue acara, though not as much as a green terror. Water parameters aren't that important (pH, hardness). Pretty much a standard acara in terms of keeping and breeding.

Are you talking about the gold Acara? (Aequedins Latifrons)

If so they are pretty much identical to a Blue Acara in everyway except they are lighter,not as pretty and have a gold line on there fin instead of a silver line like BA's.

If its a Metae it only grows to about 5 inches average. Just a typical small SA cichlid. Generally peaceful, but can be a little scrappy.
