was up guy,s i was pondering on getting a yellow anaconda wanted to know if someone has any experience with them on here. Ofcourse im doing my research on them but i dont believe every little thing i hear i also talk to people who had them to find out whats true or not

right now i have
3 foot dumeril boa
2 foot macklott python
alligator snapping turtle
lucistic alligator snapping turtle
american bullfrog
5 inch red devil
13 inch dovii

IMO if you can handle snapping turtles and large boas you will be just fine lol.
I have a little experience with them but i sold him for an albino red tail boa.
They arent very active so dont need a massive tank id provide a large body of water as mine spent a load of its time in the water and i fed him there too :) its amazing watching them eat in the water very cool!
I dont think special lighting is a must, and temp should be high 80's low 90's keep the humidy up as they will dehydrate easily which will be easy if over half the enclosure is a body of water so i wouldnt wory about that.
Id give it some branches or rocks they do occasionally climb and bask.
Their care really isnt too different from a large boa although they tend to be a lot more nippy than a boa but with regualr gentle handling at a realtively small size they calm down a lot.
Just keep it clean keep it humid and provide plenty water and you will be just fine.
Hope this helps.
