So,supposedly it is just about topped out as far as size,give or take an inch or two.I had been tempted to try one when they hit the market a while back.

I've read they max out at 18" curious to see if that is accurate. They are fin nippers though, wouldn't leave my lungfish alone so I got rid of it.

It's certainly an impressive looking fish,what do you feed it?

Thanks. I feed it various different pellets, wafers, and fresh fruits and vegetables. It also eats shrimp, tilapia, earthworms. It is not picky.
