Recently brought a couple of yellow belly turtles, i have a few questions you might be able to help me with-

1- When I take them out of their tank and let them strech their legs around my room/garden, how long are they able to go without going in the water?

2- How often should i feed them? How Much should i feed them?

3- What fruits/veg are good for them?

4- Anyone got any pictures of their turtles? Would be nice to see.

Thank you

You arent supose to, you are exposing your turtles to air currents, injurys, germs and stress, their enclosure should be large enough for exercise and as big as possible. Turtles unlike some other reptiles hardly benefic from free roaming

What is their size/age? Vegetables can be given daily. Animal food like turtle pellets, insects, etc every day once a day for babys and twice a week for adults
3- What fruits/veg are good for them?
Turnip greens, mustard greens, dandilions, water cress and colard greens. Adults will also acept grapes, banana, carrots and squash
4- Anyone got any pictures of their turtles? Would be nice to see.

Thank you
Ok
