Yellow dovii and Blue dovii

I saw some baby yellow dovii and a LFS and was wondering what the difference between these and blue dovii. Are these the same fish or they from different geographical areas?

yellows are rare in the US as they are Costa Rican while blues are the common ones and they are Nicaraguan

Yellow is often referred to Costa Rican dovii.

No they are about 1" and they all look just like blue dovii at this size

You won't notice a difference at that size. When they get around 4 or 5 inches or wheneve they start coloring up you should be able to see the difference.

I am picking a couple up tonight... Do they grow to the same size and rate as blue dovii?

Yea they are the same fish. Just from different locations so they have different colors for camo, dominance, and whatever else. If you can score some Costa Ricans that's what I would choose personally.
