Doubt it, theyre both cichlids but ones african the other central or south america, scientifically theyre the same family but thats it, theyre different genus and species.

i don't think so cause one is a mouth brooder and the other an egg layer. then again i could be wrong. it has never happened to me and i have a tank with both.
