i have bright yellow lab who is kind of weird looking... the mouth is very small and it's really fat... especially right now i just notice... and all of a sudden it is being very aggressive towards any cichlids that go near it..... i was concerned maybe it could be bloat but he always had a tiny mouth and a big belly... is he just an over-eater? but i cant explain the sudden aggressive behavior.... in four months ive never seen him chase anyone now hes going after everyone

how many other cichlids do you have in that tank and how big is it? I have 2 yellows and they can get territorial
50 gallon and around 7-8 other fish.......they are about 7-8 months old.. yelllow lab is about 2 inches........ i'm more concerned with the weird look than the aggressiveness.... could the tiny mouth and weird body shape just be a product of bad breeding?
post pic please...are you sure he/she is not trying to protect fry somewhere nearby.. have you been feeding too much protein... otherwise hard to tell with out a pic..vdawgs22;2765213; said:
