This is the fourth fish that I've had release fry. This time I actually removed the female from my 29 gallon holding tank and by hand released all the fry into a tupperware bucket. I did this because when my first lab released fry I put them with some larger fry and all but one were eaten.
I was able to get around 25 fry from her before releasing her back into my 75 where she is now eating and back to her old self.
What's odd is that the babies appear to be a very dark color. Is that because they are very new and they really don't show color yet? Will a yellow lab and an electric blue fryeri bread?
Just trying to figure out what they are...
