yellow lab fry size question

i purchased two yellow labs about two weeks ago with the female holding some pups. i was wondering how big are the fry when it is safe to have her release them. i made her spit one out with a q-tip an hour ago. and it seems to be alive and well! its a tiny bit bigger than a quarter inch.

no i dont think so and if it does its very small and looks like a full belly

if there is no egg sacs, i say continue to strip all the fry, so the mother can start eating. I would not distribute the fry knowing that i didn't know what it spawned with.

well well it has been done and their is a **** load of em! but the male is going nuts trying to knock her up again. he keeps nipping and chasing her all over the tank and doesn't seem like he is gonna stop anytime soon. i know I'm limited to what i can do for her besides putting her on the Maury Povich show to get some help with her abusive mate. i know its a crappy pic just trying to show what I'm talking about

congrats, at least you know you have a female lab, now you need more females for that male or he will stress her to death.
