Bought as a yellow lab, was completely yellow for 6 months and in the last 2 weeks is turning colors drastically. Any one with any ideas? Thanks for your time.

Well clearly not a yellow lab. lol
The problem is that hybrids abound in this hobby, especially African cichlids so as to what it's genetics are is anyone's guess. P. saulosi starts off yellow, and sexually mature males end up blue, but that's doesn't look quite like anything that I have seen.

That was my first thought also, m. Johanni and yellow lab hybrid is my guess but I am no expert.
