has any body been able to find a repudable breeder on the yellow labridens i believe the scientific name is herichtys labridens not sure on that it was in a tfh issue a couple of months backk....

come on people i need some help anyone ever had thes bad mamajammas......cmon..ughghghghghghghhghghghhghghghhghg

Jeff Rapps had them for a while. I am thinking he got a batch of fry and kept some to pair off and sold the others. don't quote me on that though. if that's the case then his might not be to breeding age yet. you'd have to email him to find out. there are several people that bought from him but again not sure if any of those would be old enough to be breeding yet. the only person I know of that has (or at least had) a breeding pair was Rusty Wessel who sold the batch of juvies to Jeff Rapps. Rusty is a well known breeder/collector. he has brought many new species into the US and even discovered a brand new species that was later named after him (Theraps wesseli). anyway, he doesn't sell on a retail level. he merely brings the fish into the country, spawns them and then sells juvies to Rapps for further breeding and distribution. :)

yeah thnx ill have to email him i need to get some motas from him anyway

I think you really threw everyone by naming the thread Yellow labs, I would guess most people would think of the very common African cichlid. The common name is usually curvebar cichlid, and the scientific is Herichthys labridens as you already said.

I took would suggest checking with Rapps on this.
