I was wondering if I could keep a Yellow Perch (Perca flavescens ~ native fish) in a 220 with my Dats, I know it is a cold water fish but do you think it could live in 78*-82* water and co-exist with my Dats?

what could happen to the yellow perch if exposed to that temperature in the long term?

It is stressful and it will be prone to disease, death, etc. But more impportantly, why force a fish to live in conditions that are detrimental to its health.

ok thanks for the info, I just thought they looked cool and my grandmother likes to eat them so I could tease her. :D

Or... you could give them to her to eat and stop pestering the elderly. :D
