Yellow tang and Idol

Does anyone know if it is normal for these fish to eat zoanthids?
It was really wonderful spending money on these zoas so i could enjoy them in my tank for ONE day!!!!

The tang should not have, however the idol..... yeah. They are known to pick on them.

I had a yellow tang take out a whole colony of star polyps before doesnt surprise me too much but they usually leave them alone. The idol however would live off of them and sponges in the wild

Ok, no more zoas i guess (don't really want to give up the idol and tang for zoas!!!)

tangs may pick at corals, though it's usually a mistake or curiosity..

the idol's a defnite eater..
