Please see pic. There seems to be a yellow pimple of some sort on my flowerhorn dead center between eyes on kok borderline. What is this?

I had the same thing on the side of my male peacock it ended up going away completely in 3 days hopefully the same for you. Sorry I couldn't tell you what it was I think mine was just an abrasion.

My flowerhorn had that recently but I put API general cure and it went away in 4 days. It could be external parasites.

I think it could be an anchor worm. I think I will try some dimilin.

Can anchor worms eat the kok or cause hole in the head?

Anything is possible when you have parasites on the head. Kill the parasite early while you can or else it will feed on the fats from the kok and multiply. Open wound will cause bacterial infection and gets worsen if left untreated.

Anchor worm would be sticking out of the spot. They are about one half inch long and can be pulled out with tweezers
