It is a serious mess...For USFWS to continue to say there is no decline is sticking there head in a hole..Hybridization and habitat loss is wiping these fish out little by little and they are far from stable..Specific populations here and there are safe or expanding (mostly due to protections in place) but the species as a whole is in total decline.
