Yellowstone going to blow?

Apparently there's a super volcano under yellowstone that will blow eventually, that's what apprently has been carving out the large flat area cutting through Idaho. Saw it on Nova or something.:nilly:
 
Yep, pretty scary stuff.
 
Yeah I've been reading about it over the last few years. Pretty interesting and scary stuff. Many people don't realise that Yellowstone is a huge volcanic caldera that erupted 70,000 years ago covering half of the US in many feet of ash.
 
This is too crazy!!! I was just talking to my wife about this. I follow seismic activity, all over the world (ever since the tsunami) And I have been very nervous. There has been non stop action in the Yellowstone region, and the four corner states in general.

I saw that there was an earthquake in New Jersey, and then things really did not make sense. I swear I almost started a thread last night. This is the site I go to.> http://earthquake.usgs.gov/eqcenter/ I think it will slowly rattle itself back down, or we are about to see the worst disaster possible, outside of a hypercane.....
 
Yikes...i learned about this a few years ago in an intro earth science class. The prof was theorizing how it could cause an ice age for north america.

In the last few weeks we've been having a series of minor earthquakes around where I live. I think the biggest was 3.4 which isn't big but you can still feel it. The point is we almost NEVER have earthquakes that big around here. Someone on the news said it's the result of the North American plate moving or something.
