I am getting a pbass in a couple of hours:headbang2:headbang2:headbang2 i have no idea what kind it is as i havent seen it yet. the store i called said it was about 15 cm (6 inches) long :headbang2:nilly: i must be the happiest 12 year old boy in the WORLD. if that wasnt enough exitement for one day my other lfs will be getting fish hopefully apistos in about two yours and my money from the article should be whithin my grasp by tomorrow!!! so VERY soon i will have TWO more tanks one is a twenty gallon who needs a mp3 player when you could trade it for a tank!?!?!?!?! i know i will get:flamed:(flamed)badly but i will get like 5 africans for it! the other tank is the 45 inch tank i have been waiting for, for my pike and others!!!! i am so excited my tan and other tank will be dedicated to mostly apistos but some other dithers as well. i will DEFINATELY get pictures soon but i must be patient.
thanks a ton if you cant tell i am SO, SO, SO excited.
bye

hate to burst your bubble bud but that 20 gallon tank isnt going to be able to hold a 6 inch pbass for very long yes its enough for now but pbass need about a 75 gallon or bigger tank to give it a good chance at survival although i could be wrong....

remind me when i got my baby rtc 4 days ago im 12 also and put him in a 20 gallon.

20 gallon is to small for a 6 inch cichla. but anyways .. enjoy your new fish you will be hooked

Yea you'll really enjoy these guys...but get them a bigger home soon...that 20 gallon isn't fit for a 6" pbass even right now my 30 gallon grow out only lasted me 1-3 months and my 5 3" orinos seems like they need to be moved already...so its pretty cramped...

yeah i dont wanna be a party pooper but a 20G is not even qualified as a cichla tank in my book. try 60G For 1-5in then 550G for life. but you can down size i mean i \ve seen people keeping cichla in a tank as small as 125G. but poor fish couldnt even budge.

WAIT a second where did i go wrong:confused: i am getting two tanks. a thirty inch tank and a 45 inch tank. i am going to put mbuna in the twenty gallon and my pike cichlid in the other one. since i dont have my 45 inch tank yet and i thought the peacock would be 6 inches i was going to put it in my old twenty gallon for a week or two. then when i got the 45" one i was going to put it there till it got two big for it then i was going to put it in the 8 foot pond.
well anyway i got the tucunare (pbass) and it was about a foot!!!!it went strait to the pond. my 6 inch oscar likes to chase it (it hasnt got used to the pond yet.) i would attach pics but i dont have enough time i will in three days when i come back from a fishing trip:D it has THREE stripes they look a little to wide to be temensis:confused: thanks a ton and sorry for not making myself clear;) before.

Sorry i havnt had a second on the computer 4 the last 5 days!
