Thats me one happy man after just 10 days of not eating my Jardini is eating pellets (3 times in 24 hours)

im in the same situartion with my jar 10-11 days so far if he dies its his bad

To those who are starving their fish to get them on to pellets.
How big are the fish ?
You do realize that you can kill the fish if they don't have enough stored body fat ?

got an RTG here and have just started starving RTG for about 4 days now. Same thing it would eat the pellet and then spit it back out even if i soak the pellets. I've given in and fed SWs in the past after a weeks starving the thing. But this time he has to go on pellets. I only hope he will be as successful as OP. Each pellets in 10 days.

I've read before that if they take it and spit out they view it as food.. so dont give up but ya dont overdo the starvation bit.. prob chuck in a few blood worms or a meal worm or two at night..
