I read a couple post of where some people have feed their fish worms (from outside ground), so I just decided to try and see what happens about 5 minutes ago.
I dug and found a small worm, not very big. It was big enough to be used for bluegill bait. Well anyways I'll quit rambling. I washed it off and dropped the worm in my tank. The baby firemouth pecked at some and my catfish was too busy going nuts after I approached the tank to notice it. It burrowed down into my gravel after some pecks from my firemouth. I kept an eye on where it went just incase I'll need to get it out.
It was completely buried for about a minute when my ornate started to perk up and sniff around like a bloodhound on a trail. It dug into the gravel head first and he found a nice feast of worm. My bichir looked like it had a smile on its face
and loved to eat its tasty treat.
These guys are extremely fun to watch hunt and kill prey.

....but in a month or so it's worm season again! Wait, don't tell me, no frozen ground where you guys are from?
