my red devil finally accepted some tank mates i put my 3 inch jack demsey and my 1.5 inch jellybean and he doesnt even look at them as long as they stay away from his side of the tank he doesnt bother them at all, he even eats with them wooooo let me no what u think.

the first pic is the jellybean and the jd together in the tank there alwasy together

the rest are pics of all of them together

usually a fish would be dead or all beaten by this time i just hope he will continue like this.

It's working now because that big RD doesn't see them as threats to his dominance due to the large difference in size.

That is a small tank for a single RD once it gets to full size. Also when he gets bigger he will likely go on the war path again. I am not trying to be negative, just dont want to see you set yourself up for a disapointment.

lol its ok i understand and i no the tank doesnt look long since its only 40 inches long but it is 20 inchs wide and 20 inches high so its still big enough for my red devil,if i do see any sign of agresion i will take them out

not long maybe 30 min but thts without the red devil in the tank , maybe a day if he was in there while i was decorating
