Going nuts for earthworms...

The photos are of both of them but I cant tell them apart just yet.
They are in 7.5inches right now.
I've put them in a bare glass 200L tank to grow out before going into my bigger tank. The tank is filtering at 8x per hour with 2 airstones.
They like bloodworm and brineshrimp (frozen or Freezedried) but go nuts for earthworms.
Has anyne tried to see if they will eat home made gelatine mixes?
Any advice and pointers are welcomed!

I have one currently (got him in Feb.) and he's only 5-6". I hear that they'll remain smaller than the normal senagals due to bad genes. Dunno if it's true, but mine grew fast for the first couple of months and then really slowned down. Take that info at face value.

I hear you can feed them a lot of things. I feed mine meal worms, frozen foods (daphnia, mysis shrimp, blood worms, etc.) and feeders occationally. He won't touch any nightcrawlers I put in though.

Hope this minor tidbit of info helps you out...

Thanks (Dirtyoldman).

Yeah ur right - I hear albinos are really inbred to produce the albino individuals so them not growing too big doesn't surprise me too much.

I should be getting an ornate in a week which is already quite big!

Thanks!
