I also got a bleekeri even though I don't know anything about them (impulse buy).
Turns out they there from madagascar don't really know what I'm going to do with it probably give it to away. Its really good looking.

Took me over 300 pictures to get the one of the bocourti (camera shy). Sorry for the crap pics there from my phone. Thanks for looking.

very nice!

A place for pets in burien washington. Best fish store in washington.

very nice...would love to see those species commonly available at lfs near me :)

Thanks for the compliments. I can't really take credit though these are my sons fish he picked them out I have kept only an argentea and fenestratus before. But my son is keeping these he's growing them out in a 55 and I told him if I don't have to do a single water change or feed them once that I would get him his own 150 when his first fish hits the 5 or 6 inch mark. He kept an african tank for two years and then gave all his fish and his rock to a friend for a birthday present and wanted to start over with central american cichlids. He's almost 9 now and he is a very responsible fish owner. I just test his water every month and make sure everything is fine. I am very proud of my little guy he's a little fish nerd in the making and it makes me happy to know that I am passing on a good hobby and way of life too him. He always askes when he goes to someones house where they keep there tanks and is shocked and almost upset when he sees that not everyone keeps fish. It pretty funny. Anyway I'm just babaling thanks for looking. And I will tell my boy that his fish are loved by others too.

Nice pick ups and great job to Your son!

that is awesome...that he shares your interest and is such a responsible fish keeper at such a young age. and above all else what a great thing for you to have in common and be able use as a common bond. :)
