Yet another diy stand

Hi,
Just thought i would post some pics of a stand I've just made for my 6 foot tank.

The stand was made of 6 by 2 apart from the middle support which was made out of 3 by 2. I then clad it with oak veneered plywood and solid oak beading. All the oak I managed to aquire a few years back on a job I was doing.
Where the drill is I will be putting my 4 foot tank with the possibility of putting a 5 footer in .
Just have to varnish it now.

the third leg is one of the main supports like the one on the left, its made of 6 by 2.
For filtertion I'm going to atempt to make a wet and dry filter. hopefully I'll get it right.
Not sure what I'm going to stock it with yet , I'm thinking a oscar and some of the catfish I've got in another tank(not the big boys which most people have)

The stand looks really nice.


I just hope that is a return pipe from your pump on the right hand side and not a overflow?

And if its a return just make sure to put a syphon break on it just below the water line.
