as the title says i just want a positive id i bought 2 of these guys but can only get a pic of one right now but they were both sold as ocel but i think they are farmies

the guy at the lfs had 2 sets of pbass 1 was labeled ocels and other labeled tems i went back and saw the tems and they are definately tems but these ocels look a little farmy to me. he couldnt tell me if they were wild caught or not, or even where they came from originally just said he got them as ocels i just hope they arent farmies but even if they are i love my cichla either way
the bigger one is turning a nice gold color while the smaller is still showing yellows and greens
its hard to say at this point if they're wild or farmies, I'd say price you paid might play a part in determining sp?

well he had these labeled as ocels for $35 and he had (and still does) a tank of tems that are $45 he got them from the same supplier but he also said the tems are extremely hard to find and he has never heard of kelberi or intermedia or any other species other than ocel and tems lol he did however sell me my beautiful silver aro that i believe could be a WC fish.. his colors are very nice and he has the blue/orange tiger stripe fins that are amazing..
