Recently I posted about permanently removing Bobo from the main tank due to stress caused by my Oscar and parrot. It was done when he suddenly erupted in one fuzzy spot on one side, and what I thought were two scrapes near his eye on the other. It turns out those two areas look like small white tubes sticking out of his flesh. I got suspicious because they were too perfect and rounded to be scrapes. He's battled ich and infection in the past and recovered. It was just never going to work with him in the 225. He is currently in his own tank. The fuzzy spot has vanished, but he has a single small spot on that same side now.
The two spots/growths aren't growing or spreading, just sitting there. Bobo seems pretty unaffected overall. No flashing or clamped fins. Pooped a couple of times but hasn't eaten yet. He didn't move for over a day (stayed in his old cave) but the temps may have been too cool (72). I added salt and a heater and he perked up immediately. I'll take a pic once my phone charges. He has plants to hide behind and under.
