I came across this board from another. I wanted to intoduce myself, I'm Dan from sunny southern California. I'm pretty new to aquariums, I got my first one less than 2 years ago and I've been hooked ever since. My main tank is a 45g with an interesting assortment of fish. From the standard neons, mollys, and various tetras to 2 rams to 2 pictus cats, 2 silver tipped sharks, stripped raphael and 2 pangasius cats. One pang I've had for about 14 month and its about 7" and the other i just got a month and a half ago.

Thanks, i've reading in some of the different forums and it looks like this place can keep me busy for days on end. Like I said, i'm new to the hobby but I drove my last GF crazy when I got into it. Luckily my new one like the tanks and doesn't mind (that i can tell)

sounds like a nice set up....how big are your silver tipped sharks?and how old are they? I have two young ones about 2 1/2 inches long.
