I picked up a wild caught marble a couple months ago who was feeding on black worms and live. I immediately started feeding her night crawlers twice a day to beef her up and all was going well. Looked fat enough to starve her for a few days and give market shrimp a shot. 4 days later, didn't take it. Went one more day and still nothing. Figured I would switch it up and offer her usual night crawler meal earlier in the day and shrimp at night hoping she would eventually take shrimp at night. Now she is not taking night crawlers and will only take live feeders.
I'm worried because she won't even take night crawlers now and I'm not a fan of feeder fish. I started buying them in bulk and putting feeders in my grow out tank but I don't want her simply eating live forever. Also, her pelvic bones are now visible and I'm getting really concerned. Still very active and showing great color but obviously she should not be that skinny.
Only tankmate is a large arowana who has not showed any sign of aggression to the ray and is eating anything I throw in the tank.
Any suggestions?
