well i was away last weekend and in a bigger city than where i am from, naturally there are some large fish shops so i took the time to have a look round. I came across a tank with jack dempseys at about 4-5 inch and right there at the back was a little jag probably about 2 inch (im making a habit of this) this little guy is one of the best looking jags iv seen myself in a lfs but he is pretty beaten up, he is a bit tatty and missing a large section of his pectoral fin but the spines are still showing so im pretty sure he will grow it back. The reason i keep saying little guy is because even at this little size he looks so completely different to the female juvies iv had, the body shape, jaw shape and just in general he looks male even at this size, il post a pic in a second and you can let me know what you think of the little guy and if i can get the picture clear enough if you think his fin will heal

He's not in that bad of shape. You are here so I am sure you care about your fish and he will be looking awesome in no time. He just needed a good home and someone that cares.
