Can you see spotting in the unpaired fins? I can't see any in those pics. If that fish is 4" I doubt it is a male. Could be washed out and it can be hard to tell in pics sometimes. If that fish is 4" I would expect to see more defined male and female traits.
 
You'll know for sure in another month. Body is pretty thick for a male at that size, but it could be because you are power feeding it. It's growth rate has been fast which is a good sign for a male...and I think I see some spotting in the unpaired fins... wait 30 days, you'll know what you have.
 
Do you mean spotting like in the dorsal fin? Yea pics aren't the best he has more freckles on his gill plates just can't see me maybe if I can net it on the next w/c or just wait a month or so

Its looking like it's gonna be a male by the looks of things... Despite the low res pics from you camera I can see spots on the finage and the main thing at that size is the fact there's spots on the top half of the body.

Heres a few example of my males at a similiar age and size to yours, taken a few months back and have since gone on to become proven males.

I agree I can't see any spots in the fish so I'm leaning female as well.
