Chrisplosion, this is what I consider the pinnicle of SB fader technology as far as parrots are concerned (excluding anything thats not a solid colour). I'm looking for more individuals like this for my breeding project, I'm trying to find a fertile pair to make a strain of SB midas using Ying Wu as the archetype. He is from (midas x bp) x (synspi x bp) parents. Since he was the stunna out of the last batch I got a new batch of fry from the same place. when I got them (.25 in) at least 5 out of like 20 something (I never counted) looked similar as babies. But as they grew they deveoped notches and now I'm not sure any will turn out like him.
Here's a video of the 2nd batch

There are some nice darmoish ones but a whole lot of yellow and black parrots.
To anyone in the Oklahoma city area & surrounding I'm selling the notchy ones
5$ ea for mfkr's

when i strain them out, I'm thinking of calling them
"pug midas"

what do you think?

More than likely it is your male, nearly all female Parrots are fertile. Its the males that get the short stick. Without seeing the parents its hard to prove what a fish is, this might be another Convict Severum if you catch my drift.

what did you breed tu get him ? my mom purchased 1 just like him yesterday . there wer only 2 in the tank full of about 20 parrots.

I got a male that looks like that guy too havent tried to breed him yet. however I do have fry from a female parrot and a male flowerhorn x creamsicle midas growing them out as we speak so far no short bodies but a few have with flowerhorn markings. Also thinking about breeding my synspilum male with one of 3 females a parrot a female flowerhorn x midas and a purple rose queen to see what those would look like. good luck with the breedings
