I have been successful in getting my Bagarius yarelli to go for pellets :headbang2 :headbang2 :headbang2

all i have to do is drop hikari cichlid gold sinking in front of him, after cutting the filters in the tank to reduce the currents, and within moments he is all over the pellets vacuuming them as fast as he can

Hikari is one helluva food

Right on! My 12" Goonch loves Masivor pellets. He sits facing the current and I drop the pellets into the current and nothing gets by him. It seems like the pellets are moving to fast but the goonch is made for this kind of feeding I guess. I also feed market shrimp with the shell off.

How big is your Goonch?

Brilliant stuff! :)

My two both take Mascivore too, superb food.

They also take Big pranws & Earthworms.

Would be great if i could get them onto pieces of white fish but if theyre on Mascivore i guess that's all they need.

I too drop my pellets into the current so that they fall near my Goonch or at least very near, agree in that I'm sure that's how they feed in the wild.
Maybe sitting under a giant rock facing the current just waiting for something to swim or drift by.

One of mine when he is really hungry will actulay almost beg when i open the lid by resting on the glass & facing upwards to catch the pellets as they fall, most impressive :headbang2
