I visited Joe and took some pictures of the Istlanum's he brought back. They are all very healthy and sizes range from 4" to 7". I brought home two and both already ate some sinking hikari excel pellets. The smaller of the two already established a territory on the left side of the tank. SOCAL members, do not sleep on this. I'm know a lot of Out of State members that want them.

Live arrival guaranteed? :D

Beautiful Istlanum, Joe does it again! His efforts are greatly appreciated. That wine rack is very cool. If you were local I'd pick that up in a minute.

Thanks Ruck Fules, for taking and posting the pics. The fish are a bit stressed at the moment, and are not really colored up yet, besides I have them in a 45 gallon container...all 26, well 24 now that Ruck Fules took 2 of them! I caught them in exact same location as last time, under the same bridge in Rio Amacuzac. For great pics of their true colors, look up GMFISHNUT, Istalnum, and see how beautiful this strain of Istlanum gets. Again, in MY opinion, is the nicest strain for color. I have a preorder list and will be checking in with those people if they still want them, if no, or I don't hear from them by Weds. all the extras I will post on the Buy and Sell for a 1st come first serve. Thanks!!!

Just bumped, one of GMFISHNUT's post with several nice pics of Istalnum I brought back earlier this year. These pics show how amazing these guys get with color. The ones I brought back this time (NOW), are the same, from same location, under the bridge in Rio Amacuzac. The pics of the new batch do not show great color yet, because I have them in a 45 gal. container (tupperware), which is solid dark color, with lid, so they dont jump out. They stress out when I remove the lid and let the light in, so the color fades for new pics Gani took. Anyway, they looked impressive with color when I took them out of the river. This was my last trip for these guys, so when they are gone...thats it! Thanks all.
