my FH wont eat. i know he want food and is hungry because he will take them but then spits it back out. i only have him for 3 days so i dont know if they do this alot. he is also my first FH so i dont have much experince with them. please help me and tell me wat is wrong with him. btw i feed him ching mix pellets if that helps. thanks

You just took your FH home, he is used to eating what was at the pet store or where u got him from.
Give him a few days and he will eat the CM. Dont believe the hype about blasts on chingmix, people think they can just buy a food and their fish will eat it. its the best food for your flowerhorn hands down.

dude try feeder guppies or goldfish.. hikari pellets are good especially for color.. and if those dont work you can always use tetramin flakes
get guppies or try bloodworms. most fish will eventually eat. only stupid fishes die of starvation. i hope your fish isnt in the stupid category. GL
Make sure your tank temperature is high around 80-ish. Also only offer CM once or twice more, if he doesn't eat it then I would get him started on another food(would not suggest guppys or goldfish I mean seriously) and work CM in later if you want to.
