Anyone know another source for these? That one is covered in some pinkish cauliflower looking stuff, so there's no way I'm going to buy it!

I had a firemouth that had something similar on him and nobody could tell me what it was.

Pretty sure it's lymphocystis. Lymph is a highly contagious viral infection. As a virus, it can't be cured with antibiotics. Fortunately, it isn't usually life threatening and can go away if you provide good conditions.

It can come on if the fish is stressed (from aggression, conditions, etc.) or exposed to a carrier. Sometimes, though, you get a fish that has it, and it remains disfiguring no matter the quality of your conditions.

Never kept them, but seen them available in group DCT orders I've been involved in.

That's the only place I've seen them too.

I had a pair until early last year, and they were incredible. Wish I still had them.

Same source, no?

Chris, I have this female left from a pair. Male was a jumper and I could never find a replacement. She's yours if you want her, I still owe you for the Amarillo!;)
No Lymph on this beauty!
