i have a pair of red oscar but the problem is they are very dull
THEY DO NOT RECOGNISE ME
THEY SPEND MOST OF THERE TIME LYING ON THE AQUARIUM SIDE OR AT TOP
THEY DO NOT SWIM MUCH BUT EAT FOOD

HOW TO SOLVE THESE PROB MY AQUA IS 6'2'2'

maybe just sulking

hmm is your water okay check for nitrates or nitrites

what kind of decorations do you have and filtration adding some extra current could help

do they have any tank mates adding some other fish could help them to be more active and more competition for food will help them wan't to get your attention

tank mates?
how longs tank been set up before you added them?
how long have you had them?
water change about 30% of the tank tonight,,,

water parameters ammonia nitrite nitrates
anything new added
how old are they

THEY ACTED VERY WELL IN THE SHOP BUT NOW THEY ARE DULL MY AQUARIUM IS SETUP FOR A YEAR AND I DO 40-50% WATER CHANGES PER WWEEK

TANKMATES COMMON PLECO
WATER CONDITIONS ARE BETWEEN 72-77° F, pH 6.0-8.0, KH 5-19

Try a gradual increase in temperature to about 80 degrees. The warmer water will increase their metabolism, which may also icrease their activity.

how long have you had these fish?
oscars are known to sulk for a while when the get moved
