at the ontario reptile and aquatics expo, i overheard this guy who was selling some fish (RTC about 2 inches long, some danios, gouramis etc.) talking to gthis other guy, and you know what this punk says? he says "Its good, 'cause with the plants, if i don't sell 'em, i can just throw 'em back into my tank, but with the fish, if they don't sell....(insert flushing noise here).

i heard this, and if i would have had $25 on me, i would have bought the RTC and sold or given him to someone who could house him. and even if he did end up in too small of a tank, i'm preety sure that that beats getting flushed down a toilet.
 
There is always someone out there willing to take fish off your hands that can take care of them the correct way. When fish are small so many people don't do there homework and anticipate the end result. :irked: It's frustrating to see that.
 
RTC's are cute when small. Sorry to hear it.

but on a more serious point, yeah, thelittle guy sure was cute. the more i think about it, the more i think that i should've got him and found him a better home, be it an indoor pond in my house, or a big tank somewhere else....

maybe next time i'll have the guts to tell the guy 'whats what'
