you know you are a fish nerd when you go down to your basement at 1:30 AM to hand feed your stubborn eel worms.



HOW FAR WILL YOU GO FOR YOU FISH I AM CURIOUS TO KNOW. SO HOW ARE YOU A FISH NERD?

I spent 72 hours constant watch in shifts with the misses over new year to keep a sick fish alive till I could get the correct medication. over that time I developed about 10 different new treatments and pulled the fish back from death 3 times. I probably spent 25 of those hours scouring the net for info. The fish cost $12Au when I bought it.......does that qualify?
I also love quoting scientific names of fish whenever anyone calls them by common name....thats a little nerdy.....also quite arrogant, rude and smug.....I hate smug b#st#rds!!!!

you know your a fish nerd when you spend your lunch during school walking to the the lfs and looking at their stalk every other day

I would walk up and down 2 flights of stairs when doing water changes. I would fill up two 5 gallon buckets of old water and empty them uptstairs where my sink was and repeat until water was changed and then repeat the process for adding the new water. Ha

lo I wish I had a local fish store or I would spend my lunch time in there. I did 3 flights of stairs to change my friends fish tank it sucked from basement to second floor to fill buckets up in the bath tub.

when you only have 3 closets in your apartment and 2 of them are full of fish supplies, food, buckets, QT tanks, fish towels.

when half your freezer or fridge is for them only.

haha I have a few about fish vs the ladies but ill hold off on those
