I wanted a faster siphon/drain. If it were on the ground, I'd have to wait a lot longer as it drained.

Nope. I am draining it right now. It's going to be a permanent (?) home for my big green sunfish. He attacked my Oscar, so he's got to go somewhere. I was thinking 'pond' but my silly mom wants him. I don't really blame her, but the last time she had a big fish...it got ugly. I'll just have to take care of him for her and let he do the occasional feeding.
