3 months ago one of my 4 rosy's started getting skinny, I moved it to a nice community tank. It stopped the weight loss but didn't gain any weight, I watch it eat, and no one chase her away. now another one is starting to loss weight and its color, I don't see any agression, i mean the occasional nip but nothin keeping them from eating.
I only have a 10 gallon tank, and no extra heater or or filter. No I do have a emrgance bucket system that I can hook into my existing filtration to isolate the fish. With this setup I would have to essintally treat all the fish since they are sharing the same water.
My fear is if I leave them in the tank what ever it is might spread to my prized fish. I also don't want to kill the rosys the first one that got sick is still alive and moving after 3 months of looking like a skeloton. It wasn't until the second one got sick that I thought it might spread.
What would you do? I keep the house at 70 so I could bump that to 75, dump them in a 10 gallon tank and do daily 100% water changes but then medicaiton wouldn't be effective.
Not to sound crul but I care more about my bala's and red tail shark then I do about these rosys. However I am not the type to kill a living fish that doesnt seem to be suffering.
