I have a small water feature in my garden.
I used to keep red eared terrapins(sliders for the yanks)

I would like to keep a couple in this water feature, which type of terrapin/turtle doesn't grow so big and can tolerate the lower temperatures?

Spotted Turtle? Do you know a latin name?

im pretty sure they are expensive...they are down here anyway

hawaii where everything is twice the price of what it should be :)

Only twice? Come to England, you'll be happy to get home!!!!

Yes Spotted turtles ... they range from 85 - 200 depending on sex and size. Japanese wood turtles or japanese spotted turtles work well too they are more reasonable in price.

pesetas i hope!!! I wonder what I can get in the UK for sensible money
