a couple of weeks ago i picked this tank up, i was wanting to get a tank much bigger around 200 gallons but i couldnt pass this deal up.

here it is 125 gallon tank, full stand trimmed in oak, light hood (that i will be re doing with more lighting) also trimmed in oak, and a frame that fits around the tank covering the corners and all also oak, a 20 year old eheim 2017 canister filter it still works also lol, 5 power heads but only 3 work, an extra 20gal tank and hood also a few other little things.

i got it all for $150 plus i had to get a new top trim for the tank because the old one didnt have center braces, this cost me another $80 so i got $230 in the whole set up.

here are pics not set up yet because i am still resealing the tank because it is 24 years old.

I would say it was excellent deal on every thing but the tank frame, unless it was for the top and bottom. If $80 was for one, the price seems stiff to me as my last two 72"x18" frames for a All Glass 125G I resealed and replaced frames(oak to black) were just over $100 for the pair with tax.

Beyond that, only being in it for $230 for the set up, you can't complain.

yeah i just got the frame top for $80 and yeah i thought it was a little high but i had the fls order it for me and he didnt tell me the price until i was there to pick it up lol but even with it being $80 i had to spend it wasnt too bad.

got the tank resealed and leak tested, everything looks good so far, got the tank up on the stand, should have it up and running in a few days then ill post some more pics.

update, got the tank sealed holds water, got it on the stand filled up, finished my plumbing for the filter, just have to finish the frame and my lighting and it will be ready for my fish. the ammonia levels and everything look pretty good so far after moving some of my rocks and driftwood from my old tank into it, and also after adding some water from my old tank in it also, so i went ahead and moved my severum on in, ill just keep checking the levels and if somthing goes wrong ill move him back out. here are the pics

the 20 + year old eheim 2017 still running with no problems.

I think you got a super deal!!!!!
I would bet money that your filter will outlast my filter.....Mine is only a year old!!!
That tank looks like it is in really good condition (I can't see any scratches)...Good job.

thanks mike, yeah the tank is in really good condition for being 24 years old, there are a few minor scratches in the inside, nothing real bad though.
