Its a little old but on Dec 31 CBC said it got to -53 in some parts which is -68F!!! The temp was around -38c (-36F) without wind
It was colder then the Planet MARS and the NORTH POLE!!!!!!!!!!!! and one airplane company decided to fly here. Just wanted to share some cool stuff

Nope....you don't have to worry about me EVER showing my face up there around this time of year.

Hm. I get cold in Hawaii when it falls below 65F.... Dont know if I could handle Canada haha.

Ir gets to -15, sometimes -20C here and that's already waaaay too cold for me. I wanna move to Florida ASAP.

That's insane!

being from Michigan its not as EXTREME but the changes are quite ridiculous.

for example its not uncommon to have 10degree temps with a blizzard, the next day its 75degrees wearing shorts and a t-shirt...then overnight drops to -3degrees haha some parts of Canada is the same way.

considering my 120gallon set up is on an outside wall and has no insulation it makes it quite difficult to keep it at a solid 80degrees. fortunately for me my Fluval G6 filter has an alarm that tells me when the temp strays from 77-82 degrees.

Growing up in North Dakota and Minnesota, those triple digit below zero wind chills are something that you deal with during this time of year. We were back in MN last week for the holidays. Part of me misses the snow.

That being said, it was 82F and sunny in Miami yesterday. :)

^jerk! hahah jkjk

i feel growing up somewhere that delivers all types of severe weather throughout the year gives you an extra +1 in life.

for example i used to travel all over the US for work and found myself in Macon, Georgia. It snowed about half an inch and EVERY person got over in the right lane and went 30mph like they were terrified. meanwhile i cruise by at a solid 75mph with no worries. culture shock hahah

My family and I just got back from a 2 week stay in Florida. While I was fishing along the Tamiami Trail last week, it was 86 F. I'm now back in Winnipeg where it feels like -86 F:irked:

supposed to drop to -9F (-22C) sunday night here, with wind chills below -30F.
yep, it's cold where I'm at, but I'm still glad I'm no farther north.
