I have to say that the advice you all give about canister filters was right!!
I removed my canister filter off of my tank and let the skimmer and live rock do there jobs!!
My nitrAtes are down more than half in just under one week!!!

yeah thats one of the biggest reasons for tanks crashing. i went to a sump and noticed similar effects.
