...and you had to spend it on fish/aquarium related items. What would you do? (pretend floor space, etc is not an issue).

I would buy two black 125 tanks, 4 AC 110 filters, 4 Fluval FX5s and black sand. I would place the two tanks side by side (or end to end actually). Any remaining cash would go towards driftwood, plants, rocks, etc.

I think the 125 long tanks are the best looking and most practical "production" tanks for the money. Though most of my tanks/stands are oak, I am starting to prefer black.

I would eventually stock one tank with African Cichlids, the other with SA Cichlids.

Sorry, the coffee is hot, still waking up and still dreaming :)

If I had $3000, I would pay off bills.....If I had no bills and had $3000, it would go towards a huge used acrylic.....everything would be DIY to save money

Where are you going to get the other $27,000 from? :D

Replace my 75g with a wooden stand and non-glossy black spray paint. Get some nice fish..group of redhead geos or something :) New filter.

55g I would turn into a high tech planted tank..t5ho, co2, substrate and all that. Then I'd stock it with diamond tetras or tiger barbs. maybe mass otocinclus or corys. New filter as well.

Yeah no new tanks. My dad won't be able to sleep at night worrying about the floors breaking and my moms guna kick me out >.>

Use say, a thousand bucks to get a DIY 8x4x3 ft plywood tank done. Probably spend the next $500-1000 on filtration. Whatever's left will be used to buy me some African arowanas, gars and giant gouramis. Not forgetting the substrate, plants and all that.

I have access to one for 3.5k.

I would get the biggest tank for $3000. That is what I would do and make it a central american cichlid tank.
