for a 180 or a 240 gal tank would you buy a wet/dry filter for a tank sized 300 or 400 gal capacity? and turn around the water 6 or more times in an hour considering the length of the tubing?

plus putting 2 Marineland Emperor BIO-Wheel Powerfilters or powerheads? :D

i like the water to stay as clean as possible and only having to change 25% every week or maybe once in 2 weeks. :D

not so much of an overkill just right to have great quality water :)

Well, it would be easier to use an air pump, but a wet/dry does a really good job of increasing oxygen levels already. I would forget the skimmer. Go with huge amounts of filtration, and keep up on the water changes:)
